Chris Brown ignited a media storm Thursday by tweeting a (now deleted) profanity-laden rant presumed to be directed at Drake, along with a picture of a chin laceration he implied he received at the hands of the Canadian rapper.
Brown is apparently unhappy with the around-the-clock news coverage that ensued.

On Friday, Brown once again took to Twitter, this time to vent frustrations over media coverage of the brawl, which took place at the Soho basement club W.i.P early Thursday morning and is believed to have left at least five people injured. Brown reserved his harshest criticism for TMZ, which has been among the dogged pursuers of the story.
“@tmz y’all full of sh*t!!! It’s insane how your stories are not informative at all and far from fuc*ing facts!” Brown tweeted (and later deleted). He added: “It’s really sad! All y’all in that office sit behind a desk and hide behind ur lives by trying to tarnish others! Good game!”
On Saturday, Brown struck a more positive tone online. He tweeted happy birthday wishes to Tupac Shakur, the slain rapper who would have turned 41, and praised rapper Wale for his contribution to the new song “Power Circle.”

Drake, meanwhile, has kept a lower profile. The rapper, who is set to perform Saturday at Jones Bay in Oyster Bay, New York, spent his Friday night sipping water at a New York restaurant with his 12-member possee, the New York Daily news reported.
The rapper’s camp has denied he sparked the brawl, though conflicting initial reports said he either punched Brown or threw a bottle at him. Drake issued a statement Thursday denying such wrongdoing, saying he “did not engage in any activity which resulted in injury to person or damage to property.”

The New York Police Department says it is seeking witnesses to the fight, and has already spoken with Brown. It dismissed reports that Drake was being sought for arrest.
Meanwhile, TMZ interviewed a young woman claiming to have been injured in the brawl, and says she is considering legal action against the bar, and potentially the two musicians as well. She joins a list of reported casualties which includes members of both men’s entourages, as well as NBA player Tony Parker and model Ingrid Gutierrez.
