As THR previously reported, Chris Brown will perform at the Grammy Awards on Sunday, marking his return to the music industry’s biggest honors after a three-year absence.
Brown, nominated for three Grammys for his 2011 album F.A.M.E., has not performed on the awards show’s stage since his 2009 assault on former girlfriend Rihanna, a 2012 nominee up for four awards, including album of the year for Loud. She’s also scheduled to perform at the event.
Brown joins Carrie Underwood, Tony Bennett, Alicia Keys and Bonnie Raitt on the star-studded roster of performers, it was announced Tuesday.

Previously announced acts include Adele, Bruce Springsteen, Taylor Swift, Kelly Clarkson, Foo Fighters, Coldplay, Paul McCartney, Bruno Mars, Jason Aldean, Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj.
The 54th Annual event will be broadcast live on CBS from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
