Christina Perri’s sophomore album was given a first single, the vulnerable ballad “Human,” a few weeks ago — and now the full-length has a title, release date and concurrent tour. Head or Heart will be released on Mar. 11, 2014 through Atlantic, and Perri will begin a two-month run across North America on Apr. 4.

Head or Heart follows 2011’s Lovestrong, which included the breakout single “Jar of Hearts” and was produced by Joe Chiccarelli. For her second go-round, Perri called on producers like Martin Johnson, Jake Gosling, John Hill and Butch Walker while recording over the past year.
“Human,” which hit digital retailers on Nov. 18, has sold 43,000 downloads to date, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Head or Heart is available for pre-order beginning on Dec. 31.
Perri’s 33-date spring tour, meanwhile, will begin at Denver’s Ogden Theatre and include back-to-back nights at New York’s Irving Plaza. Check the full dates below:
