Coldplay performed “Hymn for the Weekend” at the Brit Awards on Wednesday night. The band is nominated for British group and MasterCard British album of the year.
Coldplay performed on a colorful set, similar to their Super Bowl halftime show, decorated with flowers and pyrotechnics. Chris Martin belted out the lyrics on the piano while flower petals fell from the ceiling.
Adele, Rihanna, Justin Bieber and The Weeknd also performed during the ceremony at London’s O2 Arena.
All the confetti! What a start to #BRITs 2016! Thank you @coldplay! https://t.co/2cFw2FXm3F
