Paradigm, a full-service agency which has offices in Beverly Hills, New York, Monterey and Nashville, today announced a merger with AM Only. The Brooklyn-based company represents some of the biggest names in dance music, among them: David Guetta, Tiesto and Skrillex.
The union gives Paradigm, which books such acts as Coldplay, Phish and My Chemical Romance, a foothold into the multi-billion-dollar electronic music market, which has exploded in recent years, gracing the covers of major publications, headlining massive mainstream festivals and garnering multiple Grammy nominations. AM Only’s roster of superstar DJs will benefit from additional opportunities in media, advertising, television, movies, commercials and endorsements.
“I feel an affinity for the entrepreneurial spirit that Paradigm embodies,” said Paul Morris, CEO of AM Only, in a statement released on Jan. 12. “Our clients operate within one of the hottest and fastest growing areas of music and we wanted a partner who had the knowledge and resources to help us take our clients’ careers to even greater levels of success.”
“This is a great fit for both of us,” said Marty Diamond, head of East Coast Music for Paradigm. Added Paradigm Chairman and CEO Sam Gores: “We have an extremely successful pattern of integrating cultures and businesses, allowing highly successful people to keep their strong identities and personnel intact and in every case this has led to substantial growth.”
