Fleetwood Mac members Lindsey Buckingham and Christine McVie have been making the rounds promoting their recently released duet album Lindsey Buckingham/Christine McVie, but their performance on Monday night’s Tonight Show was surely their most unusual booking to date.
The songwriting powerhouses behind the long-running band known for spawning 1970s radio hits, divorces and more drama than the Trump White House, visited a classroom with host Jimmy Fallon, house band The Roots and a handful of kids from Paul Newman’s SeriousFun camp (for kids with serious illnesses) to blast through Mac’s legendary hit “Don’t Stop” in the latest edition of the series that has included toy instrument takes from Sia, Adele, Ed Sheeran and Metallica. And, unlike his frowny mien on the cover of the pair’s album, Buckingham’s broad smile said it all.
