The 56th Annual Grammy Awards take place on Sunday, Jan. 26 at Los Angeles’ Staples Center, but the schedule is jam-packed with parties hosted by record labels, music publishers, veterans and newcomers. More than 50 events are slated to take place in the days leading up to music’s biggest night, including a gala launch for Jimmy Iovine‘s Beats Music and Lyor Cohen‘s 300 Entertainment. Wednesday, January 22
Levi’s Celebrates a Music Icon at the Fonda (6126 Hollywood Blvd.): A private performance by Grammy-nominated artist Miguel.
Essence Presents Fifth Annual Black Women in Music at 1 Oak (9039 Sunset Blvd.): Featuring a performance by Emeli Sande.

Delta Pre-Grammy Party Featuring Lorde at Soho House (9200 Sunset Blvd.): Anna Kendrick, Joe Jonas and Ashley Benson expected.

Imagine Dragons Presented by Citi Thank You at the Wiltern Theatre (3790 Wilshire Blvd.): The multi-Grammy-nominated rockers will give a special performance especially for Citi card members to benefit the Grammy Foundation.

CAA Music Partnerships Pre-Grammy Cocktail Reception at the CAA offices (2000 Avenue of the Stars): The agency team hosts an intimate soiree for sponsor partners and friends, featuring performances from Smallpools and Ben Rector.
Recording Academy Trustee’s Award at Leica Gallery (8783 Beverly Blvd.): Awarded to the late rock photographer Jim Marshall, with special guest performance by Dale Watson.
