One year after hitting the stage to perform "Back to December," Swift went back to the American Music Awards in a floor length Reem Acra gown adorned with sequins. The singer went three for three in her nominated categories, sparking backlash among critics for her seemingly over-exaggerated surprise at each honor.

Taylor Swift, Kelly Clarkson and Nicki Minaj are among the boldfaced names selected to perform on the Grammy Awards’ Feb. 12 telecast.
Other artists taking the stage: Jason Aldean, Bruno Mars and the Dave Grohl-fronted Foo Fighters, up for six Grammys at this year’s ceremony including Album of the Year for Wasted Light. (The band announced the news on Facebook.)
Minaj and Aldean are first-time Grammy performers. The former, whose star rose significantly in 2011, is nominated for four awards: Best New Artist, Best Rap Performance for “Moment 4 Life” (featuring Drake), Best Rap Album for Pink Friday, and Album Of The Year for Rihanna‘s Loud, on which the eccentric rapper is a featured artist.

Aldean, whose album My Kinda Party has sold more than 2 million copies since its November 2010 release, is up for three trophies for Best Country Album, Best Country Solo Performance for “Dirt Road Anthem,” and Best Country Duo/Group Performance for “Don’t You Wanna Stay,” featuring Clarkson.
Swift, who’s previously won four Grammys, has three nominations including Best Country Album Speak Now, and Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance for her anti-bullying track “Mean.” Mars, another past Grammy champ, scored a slew of nominations including Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year and Best Pop Solo Performance for “Grenade.”
