Longtime New York Giants fan Jon Bon Jovi has a new football team to root for: Notre Dame.
The New Jersey rocker’s son, Jesse Bongiovi, has earned a spot on the Notre Dame University team as a walk on.
“He’s a tough kid,” Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly told csnchicago.com. “The kids really like him. They respect him. They don’t look at him as a rock star’s son. They look at him as a kid that loves Notre Dame and wants to play football and help this team.”
