Indie rockers Arcade Fire have been added to the performance lineup for the Juno Awards, Canada’s upcoming music kudocast.
News of the Grammy-winning group taking to the Junos stage next month follows fellow Canadian rockers Hedley being pulled from the awards ceremony amid sexual misconduct allegations against the group.
Arcade Fire earlier received four Juno nominations, including for their hit single “Everything Now” and their album of the same name. The Canadian rock band also will receive the Juno International Achievement Award for their international success during a pre-telecast gala.
The Juno Awards, organized by the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, is set to take place March 25 in Vancouver and air on the CBC network.
Homegrown crooner Michael Buble, who pulled out of the awards show last year amid his son’s cancer battle, will return this year to host.
