Justin Bieber is doing his part to help the victims of Typhoon Haiyan, which struck the Philippines on Nov. 8.
The pop star has launched a global campaign on Prizeo.com to solicit donations from his massive fan base. In return, Bieber is offering one lucky giver the chance to be flown to Los Angeles for a hang in the recording studio while he works on music for his upcoming album.

Said Bieber in announcing the campaign, which is earmarked to benefit UNICEF, Action Against Hunger and Philam Foundation: “When I heard about the massive scale of the Typhoon Haiyan disaster, I wanted to help in any way I could. One of the best ways I can do that is to bring a major fundraising effort to my fans all around the world — especially via social media. Prizeo will make it easy for them to donate and to share the information with all their friends, hopefully maximizing the funds we can raise for the relief efforts.”

Prizeo, which operates on a micro-donation model and has launched successful charity efforts with the likes of Samuel L. Jackson, Kristen Bell and One Direction’s Harry Styles and Liam Payne (the latter raised nearly $800,000 for cancer research and prevention programs), also will reward the “biggest sharers,” those who recruit friends and family members to donate, with additional entries for the contest.
Donors of $10 or more are eligible for other rewards, including an exclusive campaign T-shirt, signed lyric sheets, and a pair of VIP tickets to Bieber’s upcoming Believe movie premiere. A full list of campaign rewards can be viewed here.
