Justin Timberlake plays a sad lime-headed man named Rick “Sour” Vane in a new commercial for Sauza 901 tequila. The actor’s character is devastated after the arrival of 901 affects anthropomorphic limes everywhere, since they are no longer needed.
“Without the limes / It’s no fun / Don’t drink 901,” he chants with his fellow lime buddies. The strange commercial is not completely random. Timberlake partnered with Sauza to relaunch his 901 brand in 2014.
