Kanye West made a surprise musical appearance during the Brit Awards on Wednesday night.
The singer hit the stage of London’s O2 Arena, after being introduced by wife Kim Kardashian, to make the live debut of his latest track, “All Day.” West, dressed in a black hoodie, was backed by a mob of people onstage, all donning similar black gear.
Flames erupted from blowtorches and lit up the set as the rapper powerfully delivered the verses of the single, never before performed on a major-awards-show stage.
“All Day” was produced by French Montana and Velous.
The Brit Awards — which were streamed live on YouTube before the telecast on Fuse — also featured performances by Madonna, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Paloma Faith, George Ezra, Royal Blood and Take That.
