Kanye West’s timeline has been lit for the past month. After targeting Wiz Khalifa (then taking it back), rolling out his Life of Pablo album title and track lists in a haphazard fashion, debuting his Yeezy Season 3 line and revealing that he was $53 million in debt, the Chicago rapper continued to fire off tweets Monday night, post-Grammys, in the name of positive energy.
“For the past 3 years people who knew about the debt tried to use it against me in negotiations,” he begins. “You can’t control me or use the debt against me no more.… Money doesn’t make me who I am….”
Within the past 24 hours, ‘Ye asked “white publications” to stop commenting on “black music” and sought out more funding — including a plea to Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg for a billion dollars — to “bring more beautiful ideas to the world.”
