Katy Perry is taking her new album Prism on the road, announcing a world tour that will kick off in the U.K. on May 7.
The pop star will perform at several U.K. arenas before moving on to other dates around the globe on what is expected to be a yearlong jaunt.
The Prismatic world tour will start at Belfast’s Odyssey Arena and continue through Newcastle, Nottingham, Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester, Liverpool and Sheffield before a three-night run at London’s O2 Arena on May 27, 28 and 30.

Perry promised “more global tour dates” will be announced soon on Twitter on Monday and noted that tickets for the U.K. shows will go on sale on Friday, Nov. 22.
The pop star will be joined by Icona Pop on the U.K. dates.
Her show will also include a special standing pit in front of the stage called “The Reflection Section,” Live Nation said in Monday’s announcement.
