Pop Superstar Katy Perry plans to return to her hometown of Santa Barbara for a special benefit concert. On May 19 the show titled “Witness: Coming Home — A Benefit for the Community: Our Neighbors, Our Heroes” will donate all ticket proceeds to assist those impacted by the Thomas Fire and subsequent flooding in the area.
The pop icon is still making the rounds on her Witness tour, with her next performance scheduled for March 27 in Tokyo. Simultaneously, Perry is a judge on the reboot of American Idol, alongside Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan.
The Santa Barbara show is already sold out, but those interested are encouraged by Perry to still donate to help those affected here.
