Keith Richards Apologizes for “Out of Line” Comments About Mick Jagger Having Eighth Child

In a new cover story for WSJ Magazine‘s Men’s Style issue, Keith Richards dished out lines about his Rolling Stones bandmate Mick Jagger (calling him a “randy old bastard” and saying it’s “time for the snip” after his eighth child) and called himself an opinionated bastard while sharing his thoughts on Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga and more.

The legendary rocker has since apologized for the Jagger comments, saying in a statement, “I deeply regret the comments I made about Mick in the WSJ which were completely out of line. I have of course apologized to him in person.”

The Rolling Stones are about to hit the road again, having announced an 11-city European tour starting in May, which will include their first U.K. jaunt in 13 years.
