Lady Antebellum on Wednesday took to social media to reveal that they are the latest act to get a Las Vegas residency.
The band posted the news on their YouTube page, where fans will see the trio getting ready for their shows while singing a part of their 2011 hit “We Owned the Night.” The video also briefly depicted the place of their residency, the Palms Casino Resort.
“Las Vegas has always been a special place for us both personally and as a band,” said bandmember Hillary Scott. “I’ve celebrated my birthday in Vegas and we won our first award ever as Lady A at the ACM Awards.”
Scott also eluded to possible guest stars in her statement: “So, we are looking forward to making it our second home, bringing along some of our friends from Nashville and creating a show unlike we’ve ever put together before.”
Officially titled “Our Kind of Vegas” — the name is taken from their 2010 hit “Our Kind of Love” — the 15-date engagement will feature stripped-down performances of Lady Antebellum’s fan-favorite hits, and will kick off Feb. 8 at the Pearl Concert Theater at the Palms.
“We’re so excited to welcome Lady Antebellum to Palms in 2019,” Palms Casino Resort GM Jon Gray said in a statement. “Our residencies represent a diverse variety of musical genres and to feature such a respected country group like Lady A is sure to be a huge hit with all their fans around the world.”
Tickets for the Grammy Award-winning trio’s residency are set go on sale Nov. 2 on the Ticketmaster site.
