Lady Gaga, 26, has gotten into a war of words with Calvin Harris, the 28-year-old Scottish dj, recording artist and producer whose new album, 18 Months, comes out on Tuesday.
Harris, who counts Rihanna, Florence Welch and Ne-Yo among his many collaborators, first angered the “Born This Way” singer after telling a BBC morning show that he’d turned down a 2008 opportunity to work with her because he wasn’t moved by the songs he’d heard.

“You got to pick people whose songs or voice that you like,” Harris said. “And in that stage, it was before she was very big. But they sent me some songs and I didn’t really like the songs.”
Gaga turned to her Twitter feed on Monday, writing, “Seems to be trendy lately to talk shit about ‘lady gaga’ when your albums/singles drop. Y’all should live off your own hustle. #Ido”
She followed that up shortly after with, “never even emailed you @calvinharris I guess it’s hard to believe I write + produce my music. cuz I’m a woman I don’t know about EDM right?”

Harris replied: “@ladygaga no your label emailed me. I always make sure I say Im a fan when asked about it, I apologise if I offended u, wasn’t the intention.”
Was Mother Monster being overly sensitive? Or was Harris out of line? Sound off in the comments.
