Police are saying the emergency call regarding shots fired at Lil Wayne‘s Miami home appears to be a prank.
The Miami Beach Police Department issued the following statement on its official Twitter account: “Unfortunately this appears to be a “Swatting” call. No victims /no injuries /no subject at 94 LaGorce.”

“The MBPD handles all calls of this nature in a serious manner,” the statement continued. “In this case it appears to have be a hoax.”
Police surrounded Lil Wayne’s Miami mansion on Wednesday after receiving a call that four people had been shot in the home.
Lil Wayne’s record label Young Money tweeted that the rapper was not at home and is okay.
Wayne is okay. Wasn’t home during alleged events.
