Proving yet again that her Disney days are long behind her, Miley Cyrus is featured on the new single by Snoop Lion, aka Snoop Dogg, called “Ashtrays and Heartbreaks.”
The reggae-flavored track from his forthcoming album Reincarnated (due out April 23 via RCA Records) also features percussion by Stewart Copeland of The Police. The song was produced by Major Lazer and Ariel Rechtshaid and co-produced by Dre Skull.

Cyrus’ portion includes a Rihanna-esque chorus that repeats the lines, “Now my buzz is gone / I need to re-up on reality” (Angela Hunte provides additional vocals). The track starts with Snoop setting the scene: “Tonight there’s gonna be a lot of smoke in the air.”

Cyrus’ reputation as a burgeoning stoner has picked up traction in recent years. In 2011, she celebrated her 19th birthday with a Bob Marley-themed cake and a year prior was photographed acting out a Cypress Hill song — or, taking hits from a bong — which she later stated was not marijuana but the legal substance salvia. Now, having her name emblazoned on Snoop’s single art, which features a just-lit blunt among wilted rose petals, is certain to prompt the pothead talk again.
Aside from the Snoop guest stint, Cyrus is also working on her own music. Although a release date for a new album has yet to be announced, the 20-year-old singer has been in the studio with Dr. Luke and Pharrell Williams, among other producer-songwriters.
