The former Smiths singer is following up his best-selling autobiography with his first novel, List of the Lost.
Penguin Books (U..K) will publish Moz’ fictional tome in softcover format at the end of September, almost two years after the release of Autobiography.

The British artist announced the news from his fanzine, True to You, over the weekend.
The book will be available in the U.K., Ireland, Australia, India, New Zealand and South Africa and Penguin Books will share its release date within this coming week. U.S. release details have yet to be unveiled.
Autobiography, described by the Guardian as “brilliant one minute, petulant the next” was initially only released in the U.K. and Europe, through Penguin Classic. The book was a commercial success, selling 20,000 copies on its first day of release en route to becoming one of the fastest-selling memoirs of all time. However, U.S. fans had to wait almost two months to get their hands on it. And when Autobiography did arrive, a handful of sentences detailing his sexual relationships had been censored (they were later reinstated).
Moz has participated in some uncustomary high-profile TV spots in the U.S. in recent days, including a performing stint on James Corden’s Late, Late Show and an in-depth chat with Larry King.
