Nick Jonas has shared some of his thoughts on his ex-girlfriend Miley Cyrus hosting this year’s MTV Video Music Awards.
“It’s probably the most I’ve been looking forward to the VMAs in a long time, for that reason,” Jonas said at the Billboard and Jimmy Choo-hosted Men of Style party in Los Angeles on Friday, Aug. 28. “Expect the unexpected, if that’s the way to put it.”
Held at the Los Angeles home of Mitch Glazer and Kelly Lynch, Mark Ronson and Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz and Joe Trohman were among those honored at the event recognizing the music industry’s best-dressed males of 2015.
Could there be some racy moments with Cyrus during the VMAs ceremony on Sunday? “I’m sure there will be,” the “Jealous” singer said confidently. “There will be a lot of those.”

Jonas isn’t the only one looking forward how the controversial singer will approach her VMAs hosting gig.
“She feels like the perfect host,” VMAs executive producer Van Toffler recently told Billboard. “She’s that that great marriage of music credibility, candor, she uses social media so well to express herself and she’s provocative and chaotic and unpredictable, everything we want for this show.”
Producers are prepared in case things get out of hand during the show’s taping. “We have [planned] a lot of wide camera shots and a lot of audience reaction shows,” Toffler said. “And we have a delay so we’re prepared for her.”
Cyrus told the New York Times that she doesn’t want the 2015 VMAs “to be like they’ve been in the past. Last year there wasn’t even a host, so there was no energy.”
