All is well in the world of the MTV Video Music Awards.
Despite voicing some disappointment that “Close” didn’t get any nominations at the 2016 VMAs, Nick Jonas will take the stage when the VMAs hit Madison Square Garden on Sunday, Aug. 28, alongside Ty Dolla $ign. Jonas and Ty cooked up the sizzling collab “Bacon” for his most recent LP, Last Year Was Complicated.
Just yesterday, the VMAs revealed that Britney Spears will perform alongside “Make Me” collaborator G-Eazy during the Aug. 28 extravaganza. 2016 Video Vanguard recipient Rihanna is also slated to perform.
Voting is open for the Best New Artist award (and will stay open through the VMA pre-show airing at 8 p.m. ET) and, for the first time this year, fans can also cast their votes for the category via Facebook Messenger.
Below, watch Jonas’ “Canvas” teaser video for his VMAs appearance.
