One Direction released their video for “Midnight Memories” on Friday morning, which shows how the boy band beats a boring house party.

Directed by Ben Winston (“Story of My Life,” “Best Song Ever,” This Is Us), the video opens with members of the X Factor-discovered boy band stuck in the bad situations that arise at a suburban get-together: Louis Tomlinson is seated way too close to a couple aggressively making out, Liam Payne is being chatted up by an annoying guest, Zayn Malik is trapped under a very large dog, Niall Horan is getting rejected by a girl when offering her a snack.
The DJ then puts on a vinyl of “Midnight Memories,” which is Harry Styles’ cue to come in and rescue the four boys. They then leave the house party and head to an eatery called Kali Kebabs for late-night bites — the beginning of a much better time. The band then galavant around London — alongside elderly women in electric scooters, no less.
“Midnight Memories” is off their third album with the same name, which was the top-selling album of 2013 in the U.K. and broke the Billboard record for being a musical act’s third No. 1 album debut.
