Straight down, Paula.
On Saturday, singer Paula Abdul tumbled off the stage during a concert performance in Biloxi, Mississippi.
The video was captured by a fan in attendance.
The former American Idol judge was singing her 1991 single “The Promise of a New Day,” and while clapping and dancing toward the edge of the stage, she can been seen falling head first into the crowd. In the video, concertgoers are heard gasping and screaming during the incident.
According to TMZ, the 56-year-old singer bounced straight up and continued her act.
Abdul is currently on her first solo headlining tour in 25 years — the Straight Up Paula! 2018 Tour — which is meant to coincide with the 30th anniversary of her first studio album, Forever Your Girl. The singer revealed her 27-show tour in July.
