The Rolling Stones’ postponed tour of Australia is back on track.
The legendary British rockers confirmed on Friday that they’d wheel into Australia for new tour dates between Oct. 25 and Nov. 22. Australian promoter Michael Gudinski, whose Frontier Touring is presenting the band Down Under alongside AEG Live, had earlier told Billboard that talks were underway to bring the band back in October/November.

The Stones’ tour Down Under was nixed following the March 17 death of L’Wren Scott, the partner of frontman Mick Jagger. All told, seven dates were dropped, including a curtain-raising concert for the newly refurbished Adelaide Oval. The veteran group and multiple parties involved in staging that tour could be out as much as $10 million, industry sources tell Billboard.

The upcoming Stones tour will be their seventh of these parts. The iconic group first visited Australia with a national trek in January/February 1965, and they returned for more dates the following year. They toured just once in the following two decades — a nine-date Australasian run in 1973. The Voodoo Lounge tour swung through in 1995, the Licks tour came in 2003 and their most recent trek, A Bigger Bang, played four shows in Australia and New Zealand back in 2006.
Earlier this week, the group announced a string of 2014 summertime concert dates in Europe and Israel.
