Los Angeles public radio station KCSN will hold its annual benefit concert on two consecutive weekends in December. On the bill: Sarah McLachlan, with special guest Laura Marling, on Dec. 5; Ryan Adams, Conor Oberst and David Gray on Dec. 12.
The concerts will be held at the Valley Performing Arts Center at California State University, Northridge, where the station is based.
“Listeners of KCSN are true believers in the spirit of music,” said Sky Daniels, KCSN’s general manager and program director, in announcing the lineup. “Each of our previous benefit concerts has truly been magical. We expanded to two nights this year, thanks to the belief of this extraordinary lineup of some of the greatest songwriters of our time.”
Previous KCSN concerts, held in 2012 and 2013, featured Tom Petty and Jackson Browne, respectively.
