A 24-year-old woman died after collapsing at the Stone Roses concert in Glasgow over the weekend.
According to the Daily Record, a Scottish newspaper, the woman collapsed just as the band was taking the stage in Glasgow Green park on Saturday night. Medics treated the victim before moving her to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

A cause of death has not been determined, but a police spokesperson said the woman, who has not been named, “had fallen” at the concert and that a postmortem will be carried out.
An estimated 50,000 people attended the concert. The Daily Record reports of an earlier incident during Primal Scream’s set where a 36-year-old woman was struck with a glass bottle thrown in the crowd.
An accompanying photo shows Alison Davidson‘s face completely covered in blood. “Security at the gig was absolutely shocking, no bags were being searched on the way in and so people brought in booze in glass bottles,” she said.
