If you’re obsessed with where Barb went or just spend all day staring at a tangle of Christmas lights waiting for a sign from your long-lost childhood hamster, chances are Netflix’s supernatural series Stranger Things has gotten under your skin. After all, eight episodes was just not enough. Well, star Finn Wolfhard (aka Mike Wheeler) feels your pain and he’s determined to ease it a bit.
After the 13-year-old actor, who plays the emotional core of the group of tween friends in the show, shared his cover of Nirvana’s “Lithium” on Sunday, he promised to give the people more of what they want.
“Since so many people liked my lithium cover, I’m gonna put out a full length cover on my YouTube,” he promised Monday night, asking for suggestions from his 36,000 followers. The ideas ranged from the Clash’s “Should I Stay or Should I Go,” to the Beatles’ “Come Together,” the Stranger Things theme song, Shawn Mendes’ “Never Be Alone,” Peter Gabriel’s cover of David Bowie’s “Heroes” (as heard on the show) or another Nirvana song.
You gotta give the people what they want, so he said he was going to work up Nirvana’s “About a Girl.” To be honest, though, he’s pretty busy, so it might not happen until the weekend.
