It all started after Rhimes shared her excitement for Swift’s 2014 release, 1989.

There’s no word on how tracks like “Style” or “Shake It Off” might play into storylines for Scandal or Grey’s Anatomy, but Swift was definitely paying attention to her Twitter feed after Rhimes’ tweets went live.
