Whitney Houston‘s family can now access her body from the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office, officials said Monday.
The coroner conducted an autopsy on Sunday but no results were revealed, pending a toxicology report.
“I know there are reports that she maybe was drowned, or did she overdose, but we won’t make a final determination until all the tests are in,” L.A. County assistant chief coroner Ed Winter said at a press conference.
An official cause of death could be determined within six to eight weeks. There were no signs of foul play.

Meanwhile, TMZ has posted a series of reports pinning Houston’s death at the Beverly Hilton hotel on Saturday to a mixture of prescription drugs and alcohol; the site reported Monday that police discovered multiple bottles of medication at the scene that did not contain many pills. According to the site’s sources, the following medication was found at the scene: the anti-depressant Xanax, Midol, ibuprofen and amoxicillin (for a sore throat).
Houston, 48, was pronounced dead at the Beverly Hilton about 30 minutes after her body was found in the bathtub of her room on the fourth floor of the hotel. Emergency crews summoned to the scene tried to revive the singer — but it was too late.
On Sunday morning, Bobbi Kristina Brown — Houston’s 18-year-old daughter with ex-husband Bobby Brown — was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for treatment after suffering an anxiety attack, according to reports. Brown left his tour with New Edition to be by his daughter’s side; he landed in L.A. Monday night.
The family plans to bury Houston in Atlanta, TMZ reported.
