Nancy Meyers, Daughter Hallie Meyers-Shyer Set for Women's Guild Honors

Mother-daughter duo Nancy Meyers and Hallie Meyers-Shyer will be feted on Nov. 8.

The Meyers will make Nov. 8 a memorable day for the Cedars-Sinai Women's Guild. 

Filmmaker Nancy Meyers and her newbie filmmaker daughter Hallie Meyers-Shyer (Home Again) are set to receive Woman of Achievement awards at the Women’s Guild Cedars-Sinai Diamond Jubilee luncheon, which will be toasting its 60th anniversary at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills. 

The event will feature a St. John fashion show and will be hosted by Dancing With the Stars star Carrie Ann Inaba.

Since 1957, Women’s Guild members have supported healthcare, research and innovation at Cedars-Sinai, raising money through its galas to fund projects including state-of-the-art equipment, biomedical research and education fellowships. The current focus is $10 million to fund the Women’s Guild Simulation Center for Advanced Clinical Skills.
