This is 2018.

Nancy Pelosi is turning her attention from one room full of drama queens (that's a joke about the House of Representatives!) to another.

The California Democrat and House minority leader took a detour on her way to Washington, popping in on the set of RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars to serve as a guest judge on the reality competition show.

Yes, the esteemed politician will appear on an upcoming episode of the series, which premieres Jan. 25 on Logo. "All I can say is, you betta werk!" said the 77-year-old on Twitter Thursday evening in between tweets about the impending government shutdown.

An active member of Congress may be a surprising pick for a guest judge on the uber-popular reality series, however, Pelosi is the only anomaly we spotted in the lineup. Marc Jacobs, Vanessa Hudgens, Tituss Burgess and Kristin Chenoweth are among the other peppy people who are slated to appear as guest judges on the show's third season.

Pelosi, who has dabbled in Hollywood a few times before, appearing as herself on the series finale of 30 Rock, also has a history of supporting the LGBT community and legislation that promotes equality for all. In a statement to CNN, executive producer Randy Barbato praised Pelosi as a "fierce servant of our nation," adding that she "was absolutely delightful and the entire cast and crew were moved by her visit."

What can we say, politics are in vogue.
