Nantucket Fest to honor Robert Duvall

Set to receive Compass Rose Acting Award

The Nantucket Film Festival, which runs June 17-20, will present Robert Duvall with its Compass Rose Acting Award, which recognizes actors who have inspired writers.

"With nearly half a century on the screen, Robert Duvall has been one of the most consistently amazing actors in American cinema, going back to his iconic roles in 'To Kill a Mockingbird,' 'The Godfather' and 'Apocalypse Now'," NFF artistic director Mystelle Brabbee sad. "In Sony Pictures Classics' soon-to-be-released 'Get Low,' Duvall delivers a powerful performance that is sure to be recognized not only here on Nantucket, but in the awards season as well."

NFF also announced that "Saturday Night Live" cast member Andy Samberg will be added to the mix of the All-Star Comedy Roundtable, hosted by Ben Stiller and sponsored in part by Comedy Central.
