The New York-based doctor hits Beverly Hills to debut two new skincare products and temporarily sets up shop for his celebrity clients. The "It" red carpet treatment? Colbert's Triad facial -- Watts loves it.

Oscar week can wreak havoc on skin -- a jam-packed schedule, plenty of late nights (little sleep) and endless bubbly. Manhattan-based dermatologist David Colbert, whose clients include Michelle Williams and Rachel Weisz, has set up a temporary pre-Oscar beauty clinic in Beverly Hills where actresses can swing by for his signature Triad facial (it only takes 20 minutes). The three-part treatment combines microdermabrasion (to gently exfoliate), laser toning (to help boost collagen production) and lavender flower acid along with his Colbert MD products for a gorgeous glow -- and there’s no redness, so you’re red carpet-ready when you leave.

"David and I have been friends for many years. And over the years he has been taking care of my skin,” Naomi Watts tells Pret-a-Reporter. “His Triad facial is my absolute favorite treatment.” Adds Colbert, “We offer a mini version of the Triad that’s tailor made for Hollywood’s Oscar red carpet. It gives immediate results and most importantly there’s no downtime.”

While in town, Colbert is also unveiling two additions to his popular skincare line — Illumino Body Oil; $100, and Tone Control Facial Discs ($72 for 20 discs). He’s hosting an event at Barneys New York in Beverly Hills on Feb. 27 in the store’s recently renovated lower-level beauty space to fete the new products.

The Tone Control Facial Discs are mini microdermabrasion pads, designed for at-home use to brighten and even out skin tone (specifically to help reduce the appearance of red hyperpigmentation or melasma discoloration). The Illumino Body Oil is a spinoff of Colbert’s hottest-selling product Illumino Face Oil (“Michelle, Rachel and Naomi all use it under their makeup to give them a glow,” says Colbert). The body oil is a lighter weight version with hydrating passion fruit, orange and argan oils plus anti-aging retinol. “

It’s for a sleek look overall and gives a nice healthy glow,” says Colbert, who added that many of the town’s top actresses were gifted bottles in their Oscar goodie bags. “I think we will see it on the gams of some of the most beautiful women in Hollywood on Sunday’s red carpet.”
