Nathanson under Appian's big top


Appian Way has picked up the spec "The Many Deaths of Barnaby James," written by Brian Nathanson.

Nathanson's original screenplay, about a teenager in a circus for the dead who is trying to bring his true love back to life, landed on the unofficial 2008 Black List of most-liked screenplays in December.

Nathanson, repped by CAA and Benderspink, also has his original script "The Occasionally Interesting Anti-Adventures of an Unnamed Girl" in development with Scott Rudin at Disney. (partialdiff)
