National Association of Theatre Owners Elects New Officers

Regal Entertainment CEO Amy E. Miles was re-elected as vice chairwoman.

The National Association of Theatre Owners announced today the election of new officers that will serve two-year terms for the trade organization.

John D. Loeks, CEO of Celebration! Cinemas Inc., was elected as chairman, while Amy E. Miles, CEO of Regal Entertainment Group, was re-elected as vice chairwoman.

President of Foothills Entertainment Byron Berkley was re-elected as treasurer, and Jeff Logan, president of Logan Luxury Theaters, was elected as secretary.

NATO represents more than 32,000 movie screens in all 50 states, and additional cinemas in 82 countries worldwide. The organization is meant to help facilitate the international exhibition community, deliberate on exhibition issues and make policy recommendations.

“On behalf of our members, I want to thank our outgoing officers and executive board members and our new officers and board members for their service," said NATO  president and CEO John Fithian. "NATO’s strength comes from its volunteer leaders and we are fortunate to have the dedicated service of the most talented people from across our industry."

The decisions were made by the executive board of directors, comprised of 17 leaders in the domestic exhibition industry, at the association’s annual meeting, in Washington, D.C.
