Held in L.A. for the first time since 2011, NBA All-Star Weekend comes with all the trimmings of an awards season extravaganza. Festivities kick off Feb. 15 at the "Let It Fly" fete benefiting the Precious Dreams Foundation at The District by Hannah An with NBA stars Andre Drummond and Kevin Durant, plus Shaquille O'Neal and Kevin Hart (who'll introduce the players on Feb. 18 at the main event). … On Feb. 16, watch Hollywood hit the court at the All-Star Celebrity Game with coaches Common and Michael B. Jordan leading their "Lakers" and "Clippers" teams, with players including Stranger Things' Caleb McLaughlin, Black-ish's Anthony Anderson, Orange Is the New Black's Dascha Polanco, Justin Bieber and Jamie Foxx. … NBA stars Kevin Durant and LeBron James, along with mega managers Rich Kleiman and Maverick Carter, and advertising guru Steve Stoute are putting their heads together for a Carbone pop-up in Hollywood at an undisclosed location over the weekend. The invite-only destination is expected to attract A-listers. ... Kendrick Lamar will take Turner Sports' AmEx stage at L.A. Live's Microsoft Square, with proceeds going to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles. … Head to Paramount Studios for Kenny "The Jet" Smith's priavte NBA Bash with players and NBA on TNT Analyst Charles Barkley, Shaquille O’Neal, Chris Webber and Kevin Garnett, as well as Spike Lee, Tracy Morgan and Tiffany Haddish. ... Join Snoop Dogg for an exclusive afternoon Ball-B-Q at the Levi's House where guests will receive custom tees and trucker hats on Feb. 17. ... T-Pain will perform a midnight set at Budweiser's party at City Market Social House, wrapping up the two-day pop-up. ... Dwayne Wade will host a spades tournament with Big Sean, James Harden and Michael B. Jordan, among others at the South Park Center in Downtown L.A. … Other nightlife offerings include parties all weekend long — Hollywood's Avenue nightclub will have Travis Scott onstage, and hip-hop stars Diddy, Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz will take the mic at Nightingale. … On Feb. 18 at Staples Center — where Team LeBron (James) will take on Team Stephen (Curry, one of four Golden State Warriors to make the roster, with Curry's regular-season teammate Durant starting on Team LeBron) — Fergie and Barenaked Ladies will sing the U.S. and Canadian national anthems, while Pharrell Williams and N.E.R.D will headline the halftime performances. ... The events continue as New Era Cap will host an invite-only grand finale party with a performance by Mike Will Made It at 1OAK following the game until well past midnight.
