NBC Names Allison Rawlings Senior VP Corporate Communications
Rawlings joins her former DreamWorks Animation colleague Chip Sullivan at the network.
Another DreamWorks Animation vet is heading to NBC.
Allison Rawlings has been hired as senior vp corporate communications at the network.
She will begin immediately at her new position, which comes ahead of the Television Critics Association's winter press tour.
Rawlings will reunite with her former colleague Chip Sullivan at NBC, which he joined last spring as executive vp corporate communications. Sullivan replaced chairman Robert Greenblatt's longtime PR exec Richard Licata, who exited in fall 2014.
“Allison is a top-notch communications strategist. She’s extremely intelligent, is quick on her feet and is an exceptional team player,” Sullivan said in a statement. “We couldn’t be more thrilled to add another pro to an already stellar PR and communications staff.”
Rawlings worked at DreamWorks Animation from 2012-15, leading all communication efforts for the entertainment company, including branding, corporate communications and publicity. Her other previous stints include director of communications at the non-profit Geffen Playhouse, international public relations agency Cohn & Wolfe and the L.A. Philharmonic.
