NBC Uni TV ups Lund to exec vp sales


NEW YORK -- NBC Universal Television Stations has promoted Mark Lund to the position of executive vp sales at the unit.

Lund replaces Rich Cerussi, who recently became president/general manager of KNTV-TV, NBC's O&O in San Francisco. The appointment is effective immediately.

Lund was senior vp sales at WNBC-TV in New York and NBC Uni's East Coast Stations Group, the national sales offices in New York, Philadelphia and Boston. He had been named to that job in 2005 after three years as WNBC-TV's vp sales.

He joined NBC after working for Viacom and CBS television stations for 10 years at WBZ-TV and WSBK-TV, both in Boston. He has worked in sales at Harrington Righter & Parsons and Gillette Television/Storer Broadasting Co.

He graduated from St. Michael's College in Vermont and lives in New York with his wife, Amy, and six children.
