NBC's Lester Holt Will Moderate First Presidential Debate Between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton
Future debate moderators include CBS News' Elaine Quijano, ABC News' Martha Raddatz, CNN's Anderson Cooper and Fox News' Chris Wallace.
It was announced Friday that NBC Nightly News anchor Lester Holt would moderate the first presidential debate for the 2016 election between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, according to the Commission on Presidential Debates.
The first debate of the general election between the billionaire businessman and former Secretary of State will be held Sept. 26 at Hofstra University in Hempstead, N.Y.
The second debate of the season will be between the vice presidential candidates, Tim Kaine and Mike Pence. CBS News' Elaine Quijano will moderate that debate, scheduled for Oct. 4 at Longwood University in Farmville, Va., according to the CPD.
The second debate between Clinton and Trump will be a town hall, co-moderated by ABC News' Martha Raddatz and CNN's Anderson Cooper, according to the commission. That debate take place Oct. 9 at Washington University in St. Louis, Mo.
The final presidential debate will be moderated by Fox News' Chris Wallace and be held on Oct. 19 at University of Nevada, Las Vegas, according to the CPD.
