NDTV set for NAB award

NEW DELHI -- New Delhi Television will be awarded the NAB International Broadcasting Excellence Award in April at the National Association of Broadcasters show in Las Vegas.

The award will be presented to NDTV Labs for development of the nX Paint software, which reduces time to air graphics.

Earlier this year, nX Paint bagged the Commonwealth Broadcasting Association's CBA-IBC Award for Innovative Engineering.

The award will be presented during the international reception held at the NAB's spring convention and will be accepted by NDTV Labs' software architect Kawaljit Singh Bedi.

NBC Universal recently took a 26% stake in NDTV for $150 million.
