Tracie Fiss and Bob Read have been named talent producers for 'Best Time Ever.'

In an effort to beef up the celebrity appearances in its upcoming live show Best Time Ever, NBC has added two longtime Tonight Show talent bookers to the Neil Patrick Harris series.

The hour-long telecast, airing Tuesdays this fall, kicks off Sept. 15 — and aside from a sizzle that played for buyers during the May upfronts, there's been little news about how the format will resemble (and differ from) U.K. original Saturday Night Takeaway.

Tracie Fiss and Bob Read will be responsible for booking multiple segments. Those include, but aren't limited to, guest announcer spots, live bits with rotating talent and musical acts for the segment "Sing-along Live."

Both Fiss and Read spent considerable time at Tonight in the Jay Leno years, serving as co-producers and booking guests for the late-night flagship.

Fiss also worked on NBC's most recent stab at variety, The Maya Rudolph Show.
