The R-rated, animated satire from Titmouse takes a critical look at the ubiquitous quest for instant fame.
Nerdland is hitting theaters in December.
Samuel Goldwyn Films has picked up the North American rights to the R-rated animated satire with a voice cast led by Patton Oswalt and Paul Rudd.
Nerdland follows aspiring actor John (Rudd) and struggling screenwriter Elliot (Oswalt), who aim to launch themselves into the zeitgeist before the end of the night. With voice cameos by Mike Judge, Molly Shannon, Paul Scheer and Hannibal Buress, the film takes a critical look at the ubiquitous quest for instant fame.
The first feature film from Titmouse, it is directed by Chris Prynoski, written by Andrew Kevin Walker, produced by Gavin Polone and Walker, executive produced by Kathy Landsberg, Chris Prynoski, and Shannon Barrett Prynoski, and co-produced by Ben Kalina.
The deal was negotiated by Samuel Goldwyn Films president Peter Goldwyn and UTA on behalf of the filmmakers.
