'Father of the Year' helmer Tyler Spindel will reteam with Spade, the streaming giant and Happy Madison Productions.

Tyler Spindel is attached to direct the David Spade-starring comedy The Wrong Missy for Netflix and Happy Madison Productions and Q.C. Entertainment.

Spindel has already directed a Spade-starring comedy, Father of the Year, for Netflix and Adam Sandler's production shingle, Happy Madison Productions. In The Wrong Missy, Spade will play Tim Morris, who meets his dream girl and invites her to his company's corporate retreat.

But when a crazy blind date from his past shows up for the weekend getaway, Morris learns too late that he was accidentally texting the wrong girl. Chris Pappas and Kevin Barnett penned the script for The Wrong Missy.

Happy Madison Productions’ Adam Sandler, Allen Covert, Barry Bernardi, Kevin Grady and Judit Maull and Q.C. Entertainment will produce. Spade is a regular on the Sandler movie circuit, with The Ridiculous Six and a cameo in Sandy Wexler among his credits. He also appeared in Showtime's Roadies and HBO's Love.

Spindel is also directing the upcoming theatrical comedy Deported, which stars Whitmer Thomas and Megan Park. He is repped by Verve.
