New chief at Warner Bros. Pictures Holland

Hajo Binsbergen succeeds Wilco Wolfers

AMSTERDAM -- Warner Bros. Pictures Holland has named Hajo Binsbergen its managing director of theatrical distribution.

Binsbergen succeeds Wilco Wolfers, who left the post five months ago to head the Dutch independent distributor A-Film.

Binsbergen, who joins the company Oct. 8, will be responsible for the distribution and marketing of Warner Bros. P films (both studio and local-language releases) and the distribution of Fox titles in the territory.

In addition, he will manage and develop the studio's relationship with exhibitors and local partners and represent Warner Bros. Pictures Holland on a number of industry bodies.

Binsbergen previously worked at Dutch FilmWorks, where he had broad responsibility for marketing and sales.

From 1999-2007 he had a number of roles at Pathe; he was responsible for marketing and concessions with Pathe Theatres and most recently was managing director of Pathe Distribution.
