The film is coming to theaters in the fall.

The new trailer for Deepwater Horizon, starring Mark Wahlberg, is filled with tension and action as it focuses on the BP oil rig catching fire and exploding on April 20, 2010. The explosion killed 11 crewmembers and caused the United States' largest offshore oil spill in history.

Wahlberg plays chief technician Mike Williams in the film about the Gulf of Mexico disaster. In the trailer Wahlberg's character is talking to his wife, played by Kate Hudson, on Skype just as everything starts to fall apart.

"I will see them again, do you understand me?" Wahlberg's Mike shouts, referring to his family.

The Peter Berg-directed film is set to hit theaters on Sept. 30 and co-stars John Malkovich, Kurt Russell, Gina Rodriguez and Dylan O'Brien.
