Soul Surfer's Dennis Quaid is on the move. He and his wife Kimberly have just reduced the price of their Pacific Palisades home to $13.9 million.
Originally priced at $16.9 million, the French country estate sits on 2 tree-lined acres and boasts 8 bedrooms, 8.5 bathrooms, a full guesthouse and studio, a pool, a barn and a coral. "The best features of the property are the year round stream and the trail that runs up to Will Rogers park," according to listing agent Kathrin Nicholson of Westside Estate Agency.
The Quaids added some vintage touches such as "200-year-old beams from a Pennsylvania farmhouse in the living room, hand hewn wood floors, and the huge old door that leads to the Master suite," says Nicholson.
The home was first listed for sale at the original price in March, and has now come down, explains Nicholson, because "[the Quaids] are serious about selling so we’ve responded to the current market conditions with the reduction."
