Dana Delany Ron Perlman Hand of God Amazon H 2014

Other films available to stream next month include 'Serendipity,' 'Desperately Seeking Susan' and 'Men, Women & Children.'

Ron Perlman will be back on the small screen (and laptop, tablet and smartphone screens) in September as the full first season of Amazon's new dramatic thriller Hand of God becomes available for streaming by Prime Instant Video subscribers.

Hand of God's pilot received rave customer reviews when it was made available to watch and rate in August of 2014. In the series, written by Burn Notice's Ben Watkins, the Sons of Anarchy alum plays hard-living, law-bending married judge who suffers a mental breakdown and goes on a vigilante quest to find the rapist who tore his family apart. He begins to rely on visions and messages he believes are being sent by God through his ventilator-bound son. Hand of God co-stars Dana Delany as the judge's wife and Garret Dillahunt as a born-again sociopath whose violent tendencies are exploited by the judge. The full first season starts streaming on Sept. 4.

While Amazon's streaming TV offerings are light next month, Prime members can check out a plethora of movies including the well-reviewed, award-winning 2014 film Dear White People; Paramount's star-studded tech-centric ensemble film Men, Women & Children and beloved older films like Little Giants, Serendipity and Desperately Seeking Susan.

Amazon Instant Video, meanwhile, will allow people to rent or purchase a number of high-profile summer movies and the latest episodes of new and returning fall TV shows. Next month, those who missed or want to re-watch summer movies like Avengers: Age of Ultron; Pitch Perfect 2; Batkid Begins; Me and Earl and the Dying Girl and Magic Mike XXL will be able to view those from the comfort of their own homes. As fall TV season gets under way, Amazon's Instant Video service will let you download the latest episodes of new and returning series like Empire, Gotham, Heroes Reborn, Last Man on Earth, Modern Family, Once Upon a Time and Scream Queens the day after those episodes air on TV.

You can also download full seasons of MTV's Awkward and Faking It, Comedy Central's Drunk History and Showtime's recently canceled Happyish.
